Broker Courses:
In accordance with the Pennsylvania Real Estate Commission regulations, applicants for a Broker License must complete 16 credits/240 hours (1 credit=15 hours) of real estate study in one of the following ways:
- Obtaining a bachelor’s degree majoring in real estate from a college or university,
- Obtaining a juris doctorate degree,OR
- Completing the following courses from an approved provider:
- Real Estate Office Management (at least two credits)
- Real Estate Law (at least two credits) AND at least 6 credits in 3 of the following topics:
- Valuation of Income-Producing Property
- Valuation of Residential Property
- Non-Residential Property Management
- Residential Property Management
- Residential Construction
- Real Estate Sales
- Real Estate Investment
- Real Estate Finance
- Basic Appraisal Procedures
- Basic Appraisal Principles
Courses must be completed within 10 years of the passing date of both portions of the examination unless the courses were taken as part of a bachelor’s degree or a juris doctor degree.
Schedule: 10 classes - 3 hours each = 30 hours
Weeknights: Mondays & Wednesdays 6 - 9pm
