The National Association of Realtors® and its affiliated Institutes, Societies and Councils provide a wide-range of programs and services that assist members in increasing skills, proficiency and knowledge. Designations and certifications acknowledging experience and expertise in various real estate sectors are awarded by NAR and each affiliated group upon completion of required courses.
Short Sales & Foreclosures - (REBAC Certification)

Although short sales and foreclosures are not new trends in real estate brokerage, current economic conditions, rates of unemployment, and depressed home values in many markets point to continued increases in mortgage defaults, short sales, and sales of foreclosed and real estate owned (REO) properties. This course is specifically designed to show how real estate professionals can serve as a resource for sellers and buyers in the brokerage of distressed properties. Real estate professionals play an invaluable role in helping homeowners and home buyers navigate these transactions and, as a result, real estate professionals can help contribute to the real estate recovery in their markets.

This 14-hour course will prepare you to meet the special needs of maturing Americans. Seniors have become the fastest growing segment of the real estate industry and nearly 4 out of 10 property owners over 65 have lived in the same home for over 30 years.

The issues facing these clients are unique and special. Learn to help seniors make wise decisions about selling the family home, buying rental property, and managing the capital gains and tax implications of owning real estate.

This course will help you to understand and have empathy for 55+ real estate clients and customers, and be committed to developing the business-building skills and resources needed for specialization in the 55+ real estate market.

The ABRMsm real estate broker course was developed for managers, brokers and owners who wish to better incorporate buyer representation into their company’s service offerings. NAR's Green Designation / GREEN

The National Association of REALTORS® created NAR’s Green Designation to provide ongoing education, resources and tools so that real estate practitioners can successfully seek out, understand, and market properties with green features. The course curriculum requires completion of a 12hr Core Course and a 6hr Elective Course in either residential, commercial, or property management.
